How To Hipsterize Your Room:
Six steps to transform your room into a fucking piece of art.
Step 1: Own some vintage items and electronics.
A record player, old camera lying around, and 80’s flip clock are ideal. Also, an old gaming system never hurt anybody!
Step 2: Have some indie-looking furniture and bed sheets.
Urban Outfitters is Hipster Central for this type of stuff.
Step 3: Build a photo wall.
Print out your photography or pictures that inspire you (glossy) and attempt to cover the entire wall with them. Polaroids are a plus.
Step 4: Have an instrument.
Maybe hang a guitar or two on the wall or keep your trombone in the corner of the room.
Step 5: Be eccentric.
Do quirky things like hanging paper stars from the ceiling and writing/painting odd things on the walls.
Step 6: Be creative!
Don’t be afraid to let your imagination spill out into your room. Remember, this is your own personal room where you should feel safe and comfortable, so don’t be afraid to tweak around and add your own unique features. Most of all, you should have fun with it!
